adorIm 54. My doc has been suggesting to get the Shingles vaccine. I am not a fan of needles. Still thinking if I should get the vaccine or take my chances. My 80 year old mom got her 2-shots. First one was OK. Her arm was hurting for 3 days on the Second shot.

ZSMICHAELI had both of the shingles vaccines. When I was seeing my urologist for another issue he pointed out the mild rash and told me I had shingles. He prescribed Acyclovir and it was gone within a week.
Shingles will put you out of work for a couple weeks and if you are unlucky you acquire post herpetic neurolgia for several months. Get the shot.

Get it
The shot was nothing really. Just a sore arm for 3 days but IMO worth it
Had a coworker who got it on his back so bad he could not put on a shirt that's how painful it was, he said the pain was like nothing else he experienced and it just doesn't go away because it's all in the nerve endings. He was out for months at a time on medical leave due to it.
If it gets into your eyes, you can go blind.
