Wive and I caught some non-influenza bug on the MS Gulf Coast last week. She's had it worse than me.

This AM around 0200, she got up to go to the bathroom and woke me up saying she was dizzy.

I got her to the throne and seated and went to get a container as N&V usually follows with "Dizzy".

Got back and she had fainted on the throne. Was leaning against the wall and tank and had broken both tank bolts Water was draining rapidly.

Got her to the floor, woke her up and told her to stay put. Dealt with the leaking (I thought) and got her back to bed.

She's better this AM, but I failed at dealing with the leaking. Fully 1/5 of the bedroom carpet is soaked from the leak I didn't get stopped.

Sucks in more ways than one. At least the carpet will be clean.

As a guess, she sounds pretty damned sick. I'd get her to the ER now.

water supply turned off? Shop wet vac sucking up the water? Fans to help air movement?

I didn't ask about your bride 1st, cuz other folks brought up that concern, especially the ER trip.

My wife is going on 3 weeks with the Avian strain. Worst Dec & new year ever. Best of luck to you both!

sick enough to break the toilet IS unpleasant. I hope you both get well quickly.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Yep, all that. She's better and the carpet is almost dry.

Hope your wife is better as well.
