In college went to a really old Italian fella named Fausto Ferrari and he was just like the fella you describe with one addition. He had this mechanical glove thing he would put on at the end that massaged your head and shook out some of the clippings.

Don't knock a Flowbee until you try one. I haven't paid for a haircut for better than twenty years thanks to the Flowbee.
I have fine straight hair (perfect for the Flowbee) and had been butchered by multiple barbers over the years. I finally found a fella that gave me a good cut and went to him for about a year until he and his wife packed up and moved to Jerusalem of all places.
Shortly thereafter I picked up a Flowbee and haven't looked back.
How is any of that an argument for paying someone to use one on you?

Like in this scene? Man, that’s old-school. Nice.
