This may have been a happy accident after all.

Pretty sure they are/have discontinued the 2s
We actually had better luck keeping the 2s on

The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad.
If we got each other, and that's all we have.
I will be your brother, and I'll hold your hand.
You should know I'll be there for you!

Well that's not great news. I did jump in the lake this afternoon and it's still on, so at least it survived that. I'm working all weekend, so we'll see how it holds up to the vest and three days of constant sweat.

I will say that so far this thing seems to be more accurate than the 2s. It seemed like each "2" sensor had its own personality and some could be as much as 40-50 points off when I compared them to a finger stick, even if I hadn't done any activity or eaten anything for a couple of hours so my glucose levels should have been relatively stable. The last one before the one I just wasted never really showed any significant changes and just kind of tracked along between 120 and 150, even after hard exercise or eating, so I know it wasn't reading right. I'd pretty much given up sticking my finger to prove them wrong and just kind of accepted the fact that some of them were inaccurate and could only be used as a loose guideline.

The "2+" I had on when I destroyed my reader was the first one of those I'd tried, and it seemed to be tracking more accurately than the "non-plus" versions. It would be really awesome if that's the case with the "3+".

I ran my wallet through the wash once. The closest I ever came to laundering money.

Unless the band is leather, what kind of watch is this that can't take a little water? Even cheap Timexes are at least water resistant for light exposure.

Dayum, that's rough. It's just a matter of time I send my "pocket computer" through the wash. Pocket computer? Oh, I mean my freaken car key that they want over $500 to simply make a copy of.

I can't be trusted with a few gallons of premium gasoline.

I'll put it in the ol' Dodge and it'll be gone in no time.
