Savor the limelight

This better: Just got back from towing one of our boats to Michigan; 3,200 miles round trip. Next week, I’ll be taking the jet skis up. We took the boat out on Lake Huron while we were there and in about 10 minutes I’m going to help my son’s buddy look at a boat and tow it home for him if he decides to buy it. So not ALL the time, but enough. |

| Perhaps if parking lots had just a tad more elbow room between rows combined with fewer but more spacious parking spots?
Nah, I'm sure we'll just keep shoehorning battle ships next to compacts so the stores can get the maximum amount of grumpy people inside. |

| I worked at in the city center of a European capital. Our GOV was a Mercedes van. The only way you could get it into the perpendicular spot inside the fence was to back it in. Having the steer wheels in the lane allowed you to make the requisite tight turn.
Also, professional drivers are told to pull through or back in to parking, as it results in fewer accidents. One reason is forward visibility; the other is that your situational awareness is higher as you come into the parking lot than when you come out of the store. |
