Hard to believe how everything can go at once! We had a new Geothermal unit installed two years ago, it's had an issue that the contractor has been having a hard time diagnosing. Well, they were here last week, talked to Carrier and said they thought it was solved but if not it would need parts. Well, it quit this AM, parts on order but no guarantee when they'd come. They're lending us heaters.

But that's not all. Last week the central vacuum quit, 20+ year old, it served it's purpose. But that's not all. Middle of the night on Thursday my wife heard water running, got up and we had a minor flood in the storage room. Plumber came and it was diagnosed to be the 11 year old water softener. We're getting quotes on a new system that doesn't require adding Pottasium. At the same time we're getting a quote on replacing our two 50 gal water heaters with an on demand system. One heater is 11 years old, the other six, just a matter of time.

Crazy expensive but we're not young this may be the last time.

We replaced our dishwasher, clothes dryer, hot water heater and twice replaced a portable dehumidifier this year.
