We usually buy a case or two of Monster Energy Drink a month as both the Mrs. and I love a can in the morning vs. coffee. Up until today, shipping has been free but I see Sam's wants $9 a case to ship. That makes my Plus membership effectively worthless.

I guess as inflation continues to ramp up, a company can either raise prices or cut benefits - or a little of both.

Happened to me on Amazon just today. Used to be free 2 day shipping. The 2 day thing went away three years ago. Now it appears the free thing is going away as well.

I don't know about Sam's Club Plus but for Amazon Prime free shipping is only for items fulfilled by Amazon from their warehouse. If it comes from a third party seller, the third party charges shipping. I ordered the Sound of Freedom on DVD for my Dad over the weekend and it was shipped for free on Monday for delivery on Tuesday, the actual DVD release day.

Thanks for the warning. I’ll have my wife watch out for it. She has all the heavy stuff delivered. It’s been great when we’re in Michigan where the nearest Sam’s Club is 100 miles away and the closest grocery store is 20 miles away.
