All you people posting images in your posts with the .webp file extension. I don't use Chrome or Opera. I can't see the pictures. So thanks for nothing. | ||

I ran into this as well. Here is an example of an image that works in Chrome but not in IE. In this case, changing the extension from .webp to .gif, it seems to work in IE. | |||

I'm sure Firefox, which is what I normally use, will have an extension available or will be updated sometime and support this new file extension created by Google. But why would those assholes create a new file extension when there are already so freakin' many? Everyday I hate them more and more. | |||

Its not those posting webp images that are the problem, it's Mozilla/Firefox refusing to incorporate Googles webp image compression format. https://www.wired.com/2011/05/...e-adds-it-to-picasa/ so basically, it's your choice of browser | |||
