I worked part time in Harley dealers for many years. One of the stores I was at it seemed like everybody in the H.O.G. Chapter used that term. The second one I went to was a smaller store, real riders not acting like they were tryouts for a 60’s biker movie and I can’t recall ever hearing anyone use that word amongst their group. From my experience around real M/C’s the term “brother” is used as an identifier for other members of that specific club between the members. I have friends that ride with clubs and I would never refer to them either inside or outside the club setting as “bro/brother” despite going to clubhouses and sponsored events. Just my take. -------------------------------------—————— ————————--Ignorance is a powerful tool if applied at the right time, even, usually, surpassing knowledge(E.J.Potter, A.K.A. Hang loose, bummer, far out, narly, lay it on me, rad, dope, bitchin, daddy-o, flame, fuzz, shake, herb, grass, za…Anything familiar? I’m not saying you should like or dislike it but I’m guessing everyone here was a teen at one time, and guilty of similar offenses. | |||
