The only things that are safe to leave in your car for any length of time are job applications and work boots. Nobody will touch those.  I live in one of those "can't happen here" neighborhoods and did get complacent and fall into that trap a few years ago. I opened my car and saw storage compartments open and things tossed about. At least I was smart enough to not leave anything valuable in it. Definitely no guns. | |||
