Our Parsons Jack Russel (rescue) jumped the fence and disappeared on 4th of July. I have a Decker Terrier now, and although it looks just like a Jack Russel, these things are so much more social and friendly that I'll never go back.

BTW, this Decker jumps the neighbors fence to visit the 2 German Shepards and when it gets tireed of playing, jumps the fence back. The Shepards are not able to jump the fence, despite being twice as big.

I have had JRT’s for 20 years, a shock collar is used occasionally on my recent one due to other breed aggression. They can come in handy as a behavioral adjustment tool.
