Does anyone care what this dumb-ass thinks? He could barely manage his own presidential affairs.

Carter and Obumer were the worst ever. At least they paved the way for Reagan and Trump.

Carter is reborn because Obama was a worse President.

Wilson, FDR, Johnson, Carter, Obama.

What a much greater nation this would still be today but for a lack of 5 more condoms used.

I met him two times briefly on a professional basis when he was running for reelection. His lips contorted into what passed for a smile but his eyes betrayed a clear disdain for law enforcement. I was not a fan before meeting him and that feeling was intensified afterward.

What did he do to set this off? I haven't heard anything from him lately. Did somebody leave his cage door open or something?

FDR is the worst of that bunch by a long, long shot. The New Deal? FDR got tons of socialism institutionalized for the first time, and damaged this country badly from the Depression until now and into the future. FDR was effective at getting bad shit done.

Johnson was just a tag along on FDR's coattails. Bad sure, but not different in kind from FDR.

Obama brought us national healthcare, but that is more of the same as FDR.

Wilson was bad for different reasons.

And Carter was mostly ineffective. I don't think he can hold a candle to the rest of that list for harm done.

I was hoping having brain cancer would change him for the better. Obviously not.

Until Barack Obama came along I wouldn't have believed that there would be a president that I would compare Jimmy Carter favorably to. Not by a lot, mind you, but still.

I remember Carter’s shit-eating smile when he went on TV to tell us that the malaise was our fault.

Not just "mostly", most so there's some superlative he's earned. He could have done a lot of damage had he not been such a clod. Considering Watergate opened the door for his ineptitude, he dropped the prog ball big time.

I strongly disagree.

Jimmy Carter's damage to this country is incalculable. His actions/inactions with Iran, Russia, and Iraq have made it a huge problem for every single Presidency in regards to modern Islamic terrorism. He basically jumpstarted the Middle East problems of today.

That's one thing he's definitely remembered for which he's only partly guilty of as I recall. I believe it was Ted Kennedy who actually used the word malaise but the 'malaise speech' was always attributed to Carter.

Johnson destroyed the black family and created a permanent welfare society.

Obama set race relations back 500 years. He also tore down the respect this country had by bowing to other countries. His blame America first attitude shit on our standing as the leader of the world.
