I keep checking a site for a product that's out of stock. I check every day to see if it's come in. There's two variations on the item I want (an optic) , the one I want is out. For the heck of it, today I check to see if the other one is in stock. What I find is there's a 3rd variation! And actually what I really wanted all along and thought that's what I'd been trying to buy. This is a business account so I'm logged in, my payment info is already in, so no delays. Click it into the cart, click to check out, click which card to put it on, go to click the final purchase and... why is it so high? It was $x85, now it's $x97? "I swore it was $x85?" So I click back to the page and the new price is $12 higher. lol "That was 20 seconds ago!" I'm already spending money on a scope I don't need, to put on a rifle I don't need (the scope costing more than the rifle) so I'm not going to fuss over $12 but damn! Some people will think it's the system, set up that way to cheat you. Not me, I just know I'm that unlucky.

Unlucky...or merely that their product page was slow to update a price increase. I've had that sort of thing happen to me before. -MG

Except for Amazon, once a product is in my cart I always open a new window and google xxcompanyxx coupon codes. I often will find a code for 10% or more off, free shipping, etc.
