Costco gas station privileges are associated with the Costco member, not with a specific vehicle. Biometric verification (thumb print, face scanner, etc.) at the pump to verify that the customer is actually the Costco member, would do the job. I would not have a problem with that. Or low-tech method, the attendant on duty could maybe ask to see the customer's Costco card and compare the photo to the customer's face, like what is done at the store entrance. I do agree with HRK's post; there's no justification for freeloaders who want to take advantage of Costco's low member pricing, without paying for membership. That's just plain old stealing. הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

Once a month I put money on a Costco shopping card. And use it at the gas pumps all month. I have wondered on a few occasions how many people Do this for their kids. That are not on their Costco cards. Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency. Neck Ties, Hats and ammo brass, Never ,ever touch'em w/o asking first

That is totally legitimate, that's what it's for. A Costco member can buy a "Costco Shop Card" and gift it to anybody. The recipient can use it for any purchase at Costco, whether or not s/he is a Costco member. The Shop Card allows a non-member to enter the store or use the gas pumps. הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

Stopped in Costco on the 31st and got scanned for the first time. I do love their Pizza. I also have the Costco credit card and bought a different car on Saturday with a $7,500 difference in my trade. They allowed me to charge the $7,500 on my Costco card. NRA Life Member
