The Valentines Day stuff is already on the shelves. Fork you!
My Christmas tree is still up. (That's a fib, I didn't put a tree up this year, but the christmas song singing bear is still on the table.)

cparktdOn a related note...
We stopped dragging our tree to and from the upstairs a couple years ago.
It stays up all year! It's not in the way in the corner of our formal living room.
My wife decorates it for the next coming season / holiday... for example it becomes a Valentine day tree, Easter, 4th of July ect with the appropriate decorations.
She enjoys it and I have one less task to do! Win Win!

EdmondThe increased commercialization of Christmas has made me really dislike this time of year. That and my wife's family members who have too many kids always want to do a gift exchange when we only have 1 kid. No, I don't want to get gifts for your 3 kids from 2 baby daddies or your 20 year old nephew.

PASigThis arms race is rampant in the craft beer industry too thanks to Sam Adams.
You’ll start seeing “Spring” beers in the shops even though Spring is months away. The pumpkin ale in mid August is the one that kills me though. Who wants to drink a heavy spicy beer when it’s still like 99° out?

Rey HRHWe went to Costco Thursday to buy a brisket and my wife noted valentines day products were already available.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
