Sorry to hear that.

Lymes is no joke.

I had a tick bite, never had to be hospitalized, but endured bilateral elbow joint pain for 1-1/2 years.

Give him our best!

Is it definitely Lyme? It could be Anaplasma or Babesia, which would present severe symptoms fairly quickly.

Thank you folks .
I want to smack him in the ear.
He went too forking urgent care after two days in bed.
They told him "it's a four hour wait.
So they went too the U of Iowa,
They told him 2 hours.
Went too Mercy,
They admitted him within
20 minutes.

According to his wife, he was in i.c.u. at 3 p.m.

Sorry to hear. Mercy is a good hospital. Lyme disease is tough to treat. Best of luck.
