When you say "ready to ship", it should be ready to ship when ordered, not an "Estimated Delivery Time 1-2 weeks".
Don't say ready to ship, when it's not. Roll Eyes

I like IN STOCK at the “warehouse” or “distributor”.

Yeah drives me insane too. I don’t expect same day shipping but next work day/24 hours should be the norm for IN STOCK. I mean hell I’m ok with 48 hours.

It just spent a few weeks at the Palmetto, Ga. distribution center (30268).

Diversity is their strength. A 36% on time delivery record is not.

Just had this problem with Polywood furniture. Exactly the same timeline, 1-2 weeks. I was going on vacation and it hadn't shipped. I got lucky and it shipped in the nick of time and I received it the night before I left (we are talking almost 4K worth of furniture).

The cart said "quick shipment, 1-2 days". After I ordered it the status said "In production". WTF.

These go to eleven.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves with websites. Especially when I am looking for something needed quickly…I will try to find a vendor with realtime inventory and will pay a premium to get it.

If you have installed realtime inventory on your site, it should be accurate!

The only four companies I trust that ship when ordered are: Greg Cote, TGS, BCM and Primary Arms. Greg and TGS are instantaneous. The other two are never more than 24 hours later.

I'd add SGAMMO to that list. If they will be unable to ship your order quickly they are very up front about it on their web page, and frankly that's all I ask.

Greg Cote and Top Gun, I am in total agreement. I think they have psychics working for them. I swear I've gotten my order in the mail before I made it at times. Big Grin

I concur. Greg and TGS are shipping while you are still checking out.

Their company cars are DeLoreans, driven at 88 mph.

I agree, especially anytime we had a panic rush.

The worst is the Optics Planet. I never look there anymore.

I’ll give most a few days. In the last 10 days I’ve ordered from Grafs reloading and Palmetto State Armory, both very good.

I've only recently started ordering from TGS. No reason I hadn't, I just ordered from the same places I'd used over the years.

What a surprise! Every order so far has arrived VERY quickly from TGS. The have been so fast that they are now my only ammo provider.

Saturday I placed an order at a Store that supplies stuff for Glocks.

Today, Wednesday, it still hasn't shipped.

Try living in Alaska. had to replace the washer and dryer. Actually bought an Electrolux set from Lowe's that was listed as in stock. Get all done with the paperwork, go home, call to make the appointment for delivery and they're quoting delivery times 2 months out. Turns out they consider, "In Stock" to mean it's at a warehouse somewhere in the lower 48. Drove back to the store and cancelled the entire order.
