its very tiring, Kurt Schlichter's take

I'm not a conservative or a Republican. so y'all might want to disregard my take... (but I do believe in the constitution). and I agree...

I was thinking about this the other day while at a customers home and they had some talking head from Fox News on and it seems things are so bad they have never been this bad before and if we don't do something drastic the world or at leas the U.S. will collapse... and I started thinking... my life is good in fact I'm not so sure it could be much better and I really don't know of anyone personally that has it bad....I'm sure they are out there.. most it seems live on the South Side of Chicago... but personally my life has only gotten better over time... and what future I have left looks good.

Welcome to the party. I've been saying it for years. That shit is depressing.

Now, this is not to say that we should behave as if all is well, because all is not well and everyone knows it, and it's OK to point out things which are egregious and genuinely damaging to this society, but the people who are incessantly pessimistic and who bitch constantly- no one wants to listen to that shit.

It's because Dems are in control right now. You must not have been around when Trump was in charge. In fact they still talk about him more than Joe.

It's great that your life is going great but just looking at the numbers and almost everything is worse now than before Joe took over.

Not saying I'm anybody or know that many people but I can't think of a single person whose life has been better since President Trump left office.

Groceries cost 30% more.
Gas costs 50% more.
We look weak to other countries.
Traded an arms dealer for an America hating basketball player.
Pay is the same.
Media is even more out of control.

“Simple. I got very bored and depressed, so I went and plugged myself in to its external computer feed. I talked to the computer at great length and explained my view of the Universe to it," said Marvin.
"And what happened?" pressed Ford.
"It committed suicide," said Marvin

Bad news sells. Predictions of doom & gloom sell really well.

I use to subscribe to a number of magazines - mostly gun related. But, subscribing put me on some kind of a list, and more than once I was encouraged to subscribe to some new magazine that was advertised as "good news" for a change. Not a one of them survived. But, books about some coming catastrophes sell like hotcakes.

In my first year of college, a required course was entitled, "Population And Man," and the text book had the same title. The book had been written in 1970 and the author had it all worked out: Not enough water, not enough food, global cooling, there was no doubt - man would cease to exist by YTK. The book sold MILLIONS!

Seriously, sometimes you just have to walk away from the news outlets. They're trying to make a profit, and doom & gloom sells.

Of all the enemies that the American citizen faces, the Democrat Party is the very worst.

30 or more years ago I was driving home from a absolute pain in the buttocks job and I said out loud that things could not get worse... out of no where a voice (I guess it was one of the ones in my head) said, "you know Blume, you could be eating bugs in some third world prison sharing a bunk with a guy named Raoul?".....

I never said or thought that again...

Sometimes? We quit about two weeks after the 1st lockdown. Local news just plain went retarded.

Haven't been back since and much happier for it.

Being solely focused on doom, despair and demise is what our enemies want, don’t let them win half the battle before it begins. Things aren’t great, but keep a poker face, don’t let them see it getting to you.
