I check my email multiple times per day. I got an email from Deep Homo that couldn't have been more than a couple of hours old.

I've been checking every day for a deal on Milwaukee batteries. They had a package deal, an 8AH and a 6AH with charger for $279 and you get a free tool or another battery up to 5AH. Okay, but not great and I don't need them that bad.

The email had a price drop to $179 for the same combo. NOW we're talking, I'm all over that!

Yeah, except that I get to checkout and "Sorry, we're out of stock". Checked every store within reasonable driving distance, same story.

They DO have them in stock in Portland but that's 3+ hours away and (surprise, surprise...) "Delivery Not Available".

Assholes.

I gave up on HD. Look on eBay. I got the 2 M18 lithium for around $100 total. No way in hell am I paying that or more for one battery.

The eBay ones have been trouble free for over a year and get used a lot.

That’s very typical of these big box stores to advertise a killer deal this time of year to get you in the door then you find out it’s “out of stock”

Best Buy was notorious for advertising a cheap price on a TV and only have like 3 per store to sell.

It’s been a few years since I last bought a battery but when I did, it was a 12AH for $100 at a local pawn shop. The M18 leaf blower absolutely needed a battery that size.

I know a lot of people buy multiples of those deals and break them up to sell on places such as Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist. Ruins it for the rest of us.

I took advantage of this offer x2 and they offered delivery on both orders. Thats odd they didn’t offer delivery to you.

This is a great deal…

That is classical "Bait & Switch". I would report them to the Attorney General's office so they can investigate. You can't have a "sale" if you only have one item in stock! There is a section in the UCC (Universal Commercial Code) about this crap. I could have cited the law 30 years ago..... Now I can't even find the book!!!! LOL
