How about a thread about stuff we dislike, with greater or lesser intensity:

Mayo (top of the list!)
Jazz (where's that needle so I can stick it in my eye?)
Classical music (OK, I ain't very classy)
Crotch rockets (dead man ridin')
Gout
Sandals (too vulnerable)
Dull knives (and I have a bunch)
Bats (pretty much terrified of them)

Only 80%? Outside my immediate family (and not all of them...) I can think of 4 I'm willing to make time to talk to and NONE I'd be willing to go on a road trip with.

OTOH, I can count all the dogs I've met that I didn't like on one hand...

Restaurants/food companies who put garlic in their food without explicitly stating it. Menus frequently don't list it, and ingredient list sometimes have generic words like "seasonings."

I'm part of the ~10% of people whose body cannot digest garlic and depending on quantity it's anywhere from being extra gassy to flu-like symptoms. It's not an allergy as I've been tested for it, and I've done exclusion testing. There are two schools of thought on the inability to digest garlic:
1. It's the fructans
2. It's the sulfur

Similarly, I dislike restaurants that don't have recipes or standards. What I mean is I have eaten at several restaurants a dozen times and been fine, but then the 13th time I feel like I swallowed a grenade.

Have you tried Duke's? I never liked Mayonnaise and I went decades without having mayonnaise in my fridge. Then, I tried Duke's and I always have Duke's on hand or on my grocery list.

Cottage cheese. Might as well douse it in soy sauce so you can get a good hernia inducing retch going on.
