Make sure you corner REALLY hard so you can use up the whole tire, not just the inch in the middle.

My 1982 Honda Nighthawk 450 has the original tires. For nearly 40 years old, they feel surprisingly new. All soft and supple. The bike was stored for 39 years in a climate controlled room, though.
