Had an order delivery issue this week with OnTrac, which is a delivery company for LaserShip, driver reported that the order could not be delivered because nobody was home to accept it/unsafe to leave package.

Flat out lied, since I WFH, and we have cameras out front as well as a Ring. Zero video of the delivery attempt, the person just didn't want to make the delivery. Amazing they think they can lie on this stuff since people get email/text updates and have camera systems for proof.

It was delivered the next day, and left on the porch with no signature in my "unsafe" area LOL..

FedEx yesterday:
I ordered an item and it was shipped by FedEx. Tracking number indicated a deliver date of 8-23. Late in the afternoon of 8-22, I saw I had 2 voice mails on my phone. First one was from a female who said she was my FedEx driver and she couldn't deliver, because my address doesn't exist. I have had dozens of FedEx deliveries in the 15 years I have lived here but suddenly, I don't exist. Next voice mail was from the same chick who said to disregard her previous message and my package was now on my porch. And it was! A day early, so I guess it is.... Bonus! Roll Eyes

FedEx delivery twenty minutes ago. Driver propped the package against the outside of the screen door, in plain view of the street and any Porch Pirates who might pass by.

Evidently, way too much trouble to open the unlocked screen door and place the package inside the porch, out of sight from the street -- despite my dissatisfaction with some aspects of Amazon, their drivers always seem to get it right, as does USPS and United Parcel. FedEx is the worst of the bunch.

post office is good, if I am not there, sometimes they place the box by the door or sometimes I get the slip in the mailbox and have to go get it,

once, the USPS relief person left a box by the mailbox, that is about 125yrd from the shop,

and it had a rifle in it,

UPS , my regular driver will leave the boxes in my unlocked van, and will lock it for me, if I am not there,
day off or releif driver will leave a door tag,

or sometimes the package,

I rarely sign for anything,

Fedex,

Ground, much much improved , ,and FedEx Express is pretty good,

however, I have maybe 3 drivers for each

some want to scan my ID,
some what me to sign the handheld
some say they got it for me,

some will leave the package on the step, if they ring my remote Arlo doorbell (like a ring) and I ask them too,

every now and again, I will get the ,,
no one home at delivery address,, when in fact I am there,

Not fedex today but USPS. Twice!

Was waiting on a gun today and my exwife (address of my ffl license) said she wasn’t going to be home and my daughter isn’t 21 yet to sign so I went over there after work and sat and played with the dogs from 7a-noon.

At 12:05, no knock but I see the mail lady pulling past the house. I run out and there’s my adult signature required package sitting on the front porch.

So I grab it and go home. I live in a detached condo complex and our development has a big mailbox near the entrance with separate parcel lockers. I get an email that my jet funnel and mags for the gun that usps threw on the porch has been delivered to the parcel locker.

I open my mailbox and find she broke the key and instead of taking the package to my door, she throws the broken key in my box. How the hell am I supposed to open it? Would I be wrong to bring my lockpicks home and try to open the box?!!!

Can’t win with any carrier. My daughter ordered some put together furniture awhile back and a piece was broken so she called and the company was sending out a replacement board. 6’ x 1” by 2”.

Fedex delivered a tube today. Half a tube. Half an empty tube. The tube split open somewhere and they couldn’t figure it out and delivered an empty tube.
I’m just going to the lumber yard and get a piece and paint it white for her.

Not minority enough!

If you are able to open the box with your picks, take the package, leave the head of the key in the box, and push the shaft of the key all the way into the lock as far as it will go. Let her deal with it.

I had to sign for a case of ginger beer delivered by FedEx because the shipper coded it erroneously as alcohol. Roll Eyes

And in the sequel, Sig returned a pistol to me via FedEx. The driver handed it to my waiting wife at the front porch but did not request her signature.
