I just got back from trying to ship a package to one of my kids in Washington. The package had a new digital camera in it so I declared that it had the batteries that came with it. USPS: We can’t ship it without the battery sticker. Me: Correct. I didn’t see any on your shelf where are they? USPS: We don’t carry the battery label. You can go over to UPS a block a way and buy one and then we can ship it. Me: Let me get this straight: The Post Office doesn’t carry the required battery label and wants me to buy a battery label from your COMPETITOR and then come back and ship my package with you? USPS: Yes Me: Never mind. I’ll ship it with UPS who actually has everything. No wonder you are losing money. I can’t believe that USPS thinks it is perfectly normal to require a patron to buy a shipping label from their competitor and then come back and use their services. I’m at a loss of words. I can see them not having boxes, packing tap, bubble wrap etc. But to not carry a required label and ask you to buy that from their competitor who offers the exact same service? Really? OK.This message has been edited. Last edited by: BB61, __________________________ | ||
