Been there brother. I can recall the best I could possibly feel in life was Friday, end of work, a weekend I was not on call. Then the worse feeling would come 48 hours later on Sunday evening. Knowing that I had to go back. It was terrible.

Current role is turning into the same thing. I’m looking. I want out.

I wonder if "management" has awakened to the fact that there are workers and non workers. They can't make the non workers productive, so they need to make the workers work as long as possible. Busting them down in wage pushes retirement back. Kind of like China's problem with the lay down movement.
