Man, cars get destroyed at 35 mph these days. Actually saw it at the same time I heard it. If you drive east it might be good to turn on headlights. Eastbounder was in wrong place at wrong time, unfortunately. Morons are everywhere. Let's be careful out there.

There are times when the sun is at the exact worse location, low, right covering oncoming traffic.

I find a way to avoid turning westbound at that time.

If I leave the house at certain times of day, I route so I can avoid the worst "blind" spots. One near me faces east and is on an incline. Drivers going west in the morning really can't see. I go several blocks out of my way to catch the turn at least on the level.

This morning a honeywagon made such an inappropriate turn in front of me.

That impact would have been awful.
