That's because all the incompetent and foolish drivers are at the bottom of some canyon. I'll bet the locals also pay close attention to what is up slope when they place a location for a new home. Because nothing kills an under the sheets bit of romance faster than a car crashing thru the ceiling.


I've stopped counting.

We were driving Chinook Pass when we came on “ It’s a beautiful day for a Sunday dive.” Guy is doing ten miles off the speed limit. Then two guys behind him that don’t dare to pass.
Two of us start working up the line. The guy in front of me passes the Sunday driver and is off.
Just as the road opens up the guy crosses over the the left lane then cuts back hitting the brakes. He pulls off. We get by.
Then, I watch as all the cars that were held up start passing the guy. Clearly nobody was going to be nice and let him out.
