Three Generations of Service ![]() |
Working on the Cabota yesterday, add-on LED backup light wasn't working (bad/corroded connector) and in the process, dropped the light. It hit the lower cab corner warning light/turn signal and broke the lens. Two inches square and maybe an inch-and-a-half deep. Amber plastic. Everyplace I looked - online (Messicks), FeeBay and dealer, wanted $44 plus tax and shipping. Fut dat. Just a small hole, retrieved most of the pieces, I'll glue it back together and put the cracked side down. Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Just go on Amazon and get a set of LED lights and wire them in for the backup. $12 for the pair, you can get a single for $11 but why do that to save a buck... Link

Too bad the light isn't red, or you could use a Solo cup.

Ya gotta be careful. My wife damaged an exterior mirror cover. I spent hours on the internet, and the lowest price I could find was 140 bucks, white, paint it yourself. My local Toyota dealer got me a color matched one for 55 dollars. It's a crapshoot.
