I really do not like how Apple has made it that a group text with iPhones works beautifully but the second you add an Android user it's all screwed up.

Nice HD video clips with all iPhones look great but look like shit with an Android user on the thread, the Android guy gets pissed because he's getting messages all out of order, days late or not at all.

It's gotten to the point where we had to remove the one Android user from a big family text group that my wife's family uses.

OP, is the person you are trying to add an Android user? That seems to be the root of all the problems I see.

Just don't do group texts. Problem solved, and everyone is happy that they don't have to look at everyone else's conversations.

I am right there with you Gustofer. I play in a Poker league with about 18-20 guys and they start the group texts the day before we play and it is non-stop for 24-hours.

My lunatic mother in law will continue rambling on to my wife IN a group text she was previously in. Talking about her ailments, husbands bowel habits, yada yada. It’ll go on for a few minutes till someone pipes up, “you’re in a group text!”

i followed the above directions to add a contact to an i-phone group.
