Spell check gone from computer

Spell check gone from computer

I suddenly have no spell check working. Cannot find anything listed that might lead me to getting it working again.

Any/all tips greatly appreciated.

Typically, spell check is a component of a larger package, like MS Word or an email program or the like.

Some websites, including this one, embed a spell check in the software as well.

Have you added or deleted any software on you computer lately?

Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

No deletions/additions recently, other than a new ad blocker

I've never used a spell checker.

None of the spells I cast need checking.

Spell check does work in MS Word. Firefox preference set to use the spell checker, Does not work, at least here in the forum

Try disabling the ad blocker temporarily and see if your spell check comes back.

Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Did a refresh on Firefox, and "walla", spell check now works.
