That is the "unlimited" plan, for new phones only. I asked you to show me the reference to "limited time" or "12 months" or "introductory offer" for the By-The-Gig plan, which I have had for a LOT longer than 12 months (several years, actually).

Your last post is about the UNLIMITED plan that applies to new service. Yes, I see it there. I am referring to the "By-The-Gig" plan. I do NOT see any restriction associated with that plan. If you see it, please show a screen shot.

A few years ago when I took out the 1gb plan I specifically ask if it was a time limited offer, like for 12 months for example. They insisted it wasn't, as long as I kept their internet service. And until now it hadn't gone up. It is going up $5 per line now. Of course it wasn't a guaranteed price for life...

| Yes, I do see that it is “subject to change.” However, I am not able to find any reference to the “By-the-Gig” pricing being limited to 12 months. This is what I am questioning. You referenced a 12-month price on February 23, at 1:16 am EST, and again on February 24 at 11:52. That is what I disagree about — the 12-month price. I can not find anyplace on Spectrum’s website that specifies a 12-month limit to this price, other than the offer for new phones on the unlimited $15 data plan. My disagreement with you notwithstanding, my gripe about Spectrum’s crappy Customer NO-Service is two-fold: - The extreme difficulty, almost an impossibility, for somebody who has difficulty using a telephone to reach a representative via chat, email, or even postal mail, and
- The 43% increase in cost with no advance notice.
Both of these are indicative of a cold indifference on Spectrum’s part to the customers who are the foundation of their business. That is really what this thread is about.

Hopefully you’ll have better luck not using cellular data than I do. Don’t think we’ve ever managed to have a month with zero data use on Ting. Things like using Waze for navigation, standing in Menards and checking their website to see where an item is located, wife listening to some YouTube video at home and forgetting to shut it down when taking the dog for a walk (a quick extra GB right there)! Best case one month was about 80MB compared to the usual 2 or 3 hundred. |

That's not likely to happen; it's a pretty sure thing that we'll use a bit (pun?) of cellular data, but it will be unusual to exceed one GB, so I'm expecting the monthly hit to be ten bucks for each of two phones plus five for a shared GB of data. $25 sub-total, plus any taxes and junk fees.
