I just saw this story, never heard about it before today but makes my blood boil. How sick, evil and twisted this family was to this innocent kid that was tortured to death.

Thanks again Bill Richardson for getting rid of New Mexico's death penalty. Glad to see the father did taxpayers a favor and killed himself.

I'm not sure why anybody thought the kid was possessed, but I'm guessing drugs were involved. There was a similar child torture/murder case in ABQ a few years ago where the mother watched and allowed it to continue. Of course there was meth involved.

We need to bring back public hangings. Really have some punishment that makes an impression on the whole society about what happens when you go that far off the rails. I know bad shit happens everywhere, but I don't regret my decision to leave New Mexico.
