Generators, radios, emergency lighting, kits to keep in cars and other types of kits- wilderness survival and shelter-in-place kits, for example. Tools, shelters, winter clothing, footwear- all the things to help cope with the extreme and the unexpected. Formulating contingency plans for various types of emergencies, and on and on."

I encourage members to contribute anything along those lines. Let's please refrain from posting anything purely political in this section. The Lounge is the place for those topics. Threads on firearms should be limited to hardware intended for use in survival kits and the like. Other than that, the sky's the limit
