I bought a new Legion that came with an extra recoil spring painted red. There was no info so is it an extra, heavier or lighter?

Check the SIG website. It is included in the description of the XFIVE Legion. I believe the spring with the red paint is a 12# spring. The other spring is 14# if I remember correctly.
