Hi thanks for being here to answer questions.I have a stainless steel milled slide on a p226 x5 tac it came with factory fixed sights I wish to know is there enough steel in the slide to mill a new dove tail just forward if the original dove tail,for fitting a new rear sight LPA ,would there be any problem with this ,it would be the same depth as the original which on this model are quite shallow..thank you

Just checked my pals SIG x5 and I see now my plans to mill the slide will not be as much milling as the L1 model with adjustable sights ...
