Online gunsmithing training Login/Join

My current job will pay for a degree for me, so I am considering taking an online certificate or degree program in Gunsmithing. With that said, its a hands on skill, most places seem to be hands on and the only place I know of, Sonoran, has some questionable reviews.

I tried and was turned down for mechanical engineering when I requested it through work as they want a Gov/LE/Mil focus but I also did not attempt to argue it or sell it at the time.

Can anyone recommend an online school with a good program or some other things to check out if I cannot find a good gunsmith specific school?

Maybe this information will help your employer change their opinion regarding Mechanical Engineering needs in Law Enforcement...

The FBI needs Mechanical Engineers:
www.FBIjobs.gov/stem/engineering

The NSA needs Mechanical Engineers and has at least three Intern Programs aimed specifically at Mechanical Engineering students:
Data Center Facility Management (DCFM)
Information Assurance (SIP/IA)
NSA Georgia Summer Internship Program
www.IntelligenceCareers.gov/nsa/students-and-internships

At the state level, Mechanical Engineers are needed to investigate Evil Ghost Guns Roll Eyes and as an Expert Witness in Court due to their being qualified in the area of manufacturing. Armorers are not qualified in manufacturing.

Hopefully this documentation helps??
