Cleaning a TiN gun barrel? Login/Join

Took the Spectre Comp out to the range yesterday but only had time to shoot 50 rounds. Got home and took the TiN (gold) factory barrel from the slide and it was filthy! Is it ok to use an old brass brush to remove all the crud. Or is an Ultrasound cleaner better? Inquiring minds want to know.

Many thanks,

TiN shouldn't even blink when using a brass brush; it is much harder. The ultrasonic would also help a lot. Why not both?

Thanks - the old brass brush worked wonders. Maybe next time for the Ultrasonic cleaner . . . Big Grin
