Firing pin retainer
On older 229 slide with the solid pin retainer, is it possible to replace with the spiral roll pins ? Is it recommended, for easier future service ?

The solid pin for P229 has one side of the pin a larger diameter and knurled end. So on these type of pins a straight spiral would not work.
