Just bought BDA first year (HH) in .45. It is having ejection issues, the nose of the incoming round in the magazine is hitting into the base of the spent round. If I chamber a round into an empty chamber I can cycle a full magazine by hand without a problem. If I leave a spent round in the chamber and try to eject and feed a new round, the spend case partially ejects (about 1/3 of an inch) onto the top incoming round in the magazine. Any thoughts?
Was the gun functioning correctly prior to this occasion in live fire use? When was the last time it was cleaned and lubricated? What bullet weight ammunition are you using? What brand ammunition are you using? Is the ammunition being used reloads? Has the gun had work done to it?

Sounds like an extraction problem, not ejection. Just to be clear, this is happening only in live fire? When hand cycling rounds, the brass is not swelling and grabbing the chamber the same way it does in live fire. If your extractor is weak or otherwise damaged or out of spec, this would be the result.
Just compared extractors on my 38 Super and 9mm BDA's with the 45. The 45 seems to float while the others are very rigid, looks like I may be replacing the extractor. Thanks for your replies
