I have a 225-A1 with number 6 front and rear night sights. I know that SIG has set it up so that your poa covers the target. I can't get use to this hold and want to raise the poa so that the top of my front sight is the poa. What sight number(s) do I need to raise the poa? Thanks!

sig sight language is: "numbers up groups up numbers down groups down" front numbers are nominally 1" and rear numbers are nominally 2". “So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong, and strike at what is weak.”

That's just the Flomax talking |
9mm SIGs usually have a #8 front sight. That would raise the POI by two inches at 25 yards.
