Appreciate any information/youtube link for instructions how to remove the magazine disconnect safety in P238

I've never seen a 238 with a mag disconnect. I suppose google is your friend here. Good luck.

California requires pistols to have a magazine disconnect as one of the requirements to be on the Roster of approved handguns to be sold in California. Prevents the gun from being fired unless there is a magazine in the Magwell. The idea is that “someone“ might pull the trigger on a gun after the magazine has been removed, thinking that it’s safe, while there still could be a round in the chamber. It’s a PIA if you want to do dry fire practice.

Both my P238s were
bought in CA and neither
one has a magazine disconnect.

Do you need a redesigned magazine for yours?
