I'd like to securely, but not permanently attach a trilug mount to the 1/2"x28 threaded muzzle of my 9MM carbine. Considering the operating temperatures with a suppressor on the trilug, which Loktite would serve best? ____________________

My vote... Rockset.... The Loktite that would be required, Red or Better, would be basically permanent. Rockset can take the heat but can be removed with soaking in water. Andrew Duty is the sublimest word in the English Language - Gen Robert E Lee.

Actually, red Loctite is not permanent. If you heat it up it will come apart. I would go with Rockset. Either way you can't go wrong. Both are excellent "locking" compounds.
