Max wants to know about bench tools.
Max has retired at age 69
He goes shooting four times a year.
he has 3 revolvers , 3 semi auto pistols
a semi auto rifle , a bolt action and a pump .22,

he has a .20 gauge ,a .12 ga. and a .410 .

he wants to purchase some more of each ,
but

he has made space in his basement for a cleaning/ work bench specifically for his guns.

He won't be building guns from scratch, milling parts or welding stuff.

Am posting to see what $500.00 will do in the way of basic introductory tools.

He has a bench , lights and a magnifier

A set of picks is a good idea. Very helpful for getting into tight places, hook for removing springs, etc.

I have a Tipton Gun Vise. I'm not a gunsmith, but this vise has served me very well. It will hold pistols, my AR, shotguns, whatever pretty much.

You an usually find it on sale for about $99 or so. You don't have to buy it from the manufacturer.

*******RIGHT NOW Amazon has it on a smokin' good sale price for $49.43 with free shipping. Anyone who doesn't have one should pull the trigger (pun intended) on buying today.********
