I am fairly frustrated with sig customer service. All I need is the danged trigger pin for my x-five classic, the factory one quite literally broke in half. I called sig thinking I could just order one
...NOPE...they refuse to sell them. You have to send the entire gun in! WTH? Its not easy for me to ship since no local shops ship for customers and we do not have a local ups hub. I ended up taking a standard P226 trigger pin and the filing the little slanted notches into it.and cold bluing it. So far so good. I am about ready to sell these "designer" Sigs though. Why have a gun that a company will not support?

I’m going to make a SWAG and say that it’s due to their legal department, the allegations over the P320 and the desire to keep lawsuits down to a minimum.

Midwest Gunworks sells a few Sig trigger pins, may not be the one you are looking for.

Yeah the "classic" model uses a different type. It has these weird sloped cuts in it. I ended up taking a regular 226 pin and filing the slopes into it. Seems to be working. Total horse manure

This is one reason I no longer buy any SIGs. I detest the practice of not selling parts for their firearms.

I had to send my whole pistol to them because one of the wood grip panels was warped! Could have easily just sent the grips to them. They replaced the grips, but told me it was a complimentary repair, and that the gun was subjected to very high humidity, and would only be covered 1 time. They did me a solid by sending me a "Rifle RMA", so it only cost me $29

Sit will accept a gun shipped directly by the owner, it’s never necessary to use an FFl to ship to a gunsmith or a manufacturer.

He also stated he's not near a UPS hub and FFLs were closer options. He never implied thinking he needed to go through an FFL.

I'm feeling the same way. SIG has abandoned us on parts, even simple maintenance parts, for classic lines and discontinued guns.

Same here. My Sig 226 had to go back not once but twice for broken short extractors. Got rid of that pistol.

I had a similar problem with an out of spec P226 slide. They agreed to have a look at but only would receive the shipment if I used an FFL. They would NOT accept a shipment directly from me.

Wish I could help you. I have 4 of the standard blued trigger pins for the P220 which if I recall fits the P226. Doesn't sound like its the right part for you though.
