I am the original owner of a Stainless Steel Sig Sauer P232 in .380 caliber with a Crimson Trace Laser Grip. I think that I may have only shot less than 200 rounds. The slide is very stiff on the weapon, and it is difficult to rack the slide to chamber the gun. Is it possible that I have the spring installed the wrong way on the barrel? Should I be using a special oil on the weapon to loosen up the slide a bit? I having some slight issues with my hands because I have Multiple Sclerosis. Any helpful advice would be appreciated.

Is it still difficult to rack the slide after you manually cock the hammer? What kind of lubrication is on the slide rails? And how much?

Have you tried racking it with the grips off?
