A few years back they got their magazine restrictions.

Then they got their Semi-automatic personal defensive/modern sporting rifle ban.


Now they are going for a permit to purchase that has fingerprinting, medical release, and “training” requirements. Another bill seeks to levy a $1000 fine for being a victim if you don’t report loss/theft of firearm within 24 hours.

I can’t wait to get out of this state…

The Marxists have been emboldened by the 9th circuit court giving SCOTUS the middle finger and telling them to fuck off about the Second Amendment and their new NYSRPA vs Bruen decision standard for scrutiny of text/history/tradition for Second Amendment cases including the one they GVRd back to the 9th about the magazine ban. We will see much of the same here in Illinois as the 7th circuit court upheld the Illinois AWB via a 3 judge panel 2-1. An appeal was made to hear the case via the full court and they told us to fuck off.

If SCOTUS does not do something definitive soon as in this term ending this summer about AWB/magazine bans, ATF abuse of power crap, and this other bullshit I fear that they never will.
