| just seen this post. Thank you for posting this information. If we don't stop this here and now, it will surely slowly happen to the rest of the nation. California is turning into the: "Socialist Republic of Kalifornia"

fugitive from reality

| Being a resident of NY I'm very familiar with this case. NY is a may issue state, although almost no one gets turned down. The big issue is you need a pistol license to own a handgun, and it's restrictios on the same license that's the question here. quote: Originally posted by rmfnla: Hopefully this will help, too: https://www.npr.org/2021/04/26...n-more-than-a-decade

| California is another state with bad leadership. I hope the citizens see what the real problem is. If someone is killed by a drunk driver they don’t try to ban cars. I guess this state will never change. I hope I’m wrong. |

| More than that. The SCOTUS vacated several cases, including this one, post NYSRPA, sending them back down to the lower courts to be reheard. With that ruling if I'm hearing this correct, they directed that the rehearing be decided in light of the new analytical standards for 2A cases called for in NYSRPA. Given that, the lower federal courts are basically compelled to rule that the restrictions that are the bases of this case are unconstitutional. quote: Originally posted by SgtGold: With the NYRPA\Bruin case victory in NY, even CA and NJ have removed their 'just cause' pistol licensing language. If the CA AWB case gets in front of SCOTUS the ramaining state AWB's will fall as well.
