Amen.
Second Amendment, Second Amendment, Second Amendment, over and over.
Yes, the Second Amendment is important, but just as the Declaration of Independence didn’t give us the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, if we believe that the Amendment is the basis for the right to keep and bear arms, then we believe that we would no longer have the right to own and employ effective weapons for our self-defense (to cite only one right) if it were repealed.

arcwelderAnd when you need to talk to a Lefty- Self defense is a Human Right. The Constitution just says that government can't fuck with it.

You would be shocked. But I was watching a speech by Newt Gingrich of all people where he stated, "our rights granted by the Constitution."
As parabellum stated, the Constitution does not grant us anything. To quote G. Gordon Liddy, as free people, our rights are endowed upon us by our creator. They are not granted by a piece of paper. They are enumerated in the Bill of Rights to the Constitution. But even that Bill of Rights states that the list is not finite.
