Here we go. They have majority in both houses as well as the Gov.

Worried how many of these will end up passing…

HB 1132 Limit purchase of firearms and ammo within a 30-day period.

HB 1152 Storage Requirements of firearms in vehicles and other locations.

HB 1386 11% tax increase on the purchase guns, parts, and ammunition.

HB 1504 Enhancing public safety by requiring financial responsibility to purchase or possess a firearm or operate a firearm range. Insurance per gun.

HB 2320 Regulation of firearm manufacturing

HB 2321 Regulating 3-D printers with certain blocking technologies

SB 5098 Restricting lawful carry of firearms, creating more NO GUN ZONES.

SB 5099 Restrictions to business operations of licensed firearms dealers.

SB 6055 WSP can raise the background check fee above $18 per transaction.

What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

That's terrible. I feel you.

I'm in Cali and we have the same problem with the dims controlling all branches of govt. and constantly promoting the same gun control BS.

The only thing helping us right now is the states budget deficit ($16 billion expected to double in 2026). Apparently some anti-gun measures died in appropriations committee last week b/c there was no hope of funding them.

Hoping for the best for you all in WA.

And this is what it's about; slapping a tax on a small population and all the old saws about nobody needs, if even one is saved yada yada.

I've lived here a long time and some where along the line the worm turned and the place is essentially californicated.

Update - 3/14/26

Looks like all but one of these are dead in the water at this point. Seems the last two or three weeks everyone spent their efforts fighting for or against a new (illegal and unconstitutional) state income tax and these fell by the wayside.

I’m fully expect most will come back next year for another try.

HB 1132 Limit purchase of firearms and ammo within a 30-day period. DOA

Only one that passed both chambers and is now waiting for Sideshow Bob’s signature is:

HB 2320 Regulation of firearm manufacturing - this bill adds restrictions and criminalizes using 3D printers or CNC equipment for firearms and firearms parts. It is very similar to failed HB 2321, the main difference being 2321 criminalized the sale of the equipment unless it had “blocking technology” that prevented it from creating the banned parts.

I have no doubt it will be signed.

Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised that these failed for the most part. For those that failed, only SB 5098 cleared the initiating chamber before dying in committee in the other chamber. The others never made it out of committee in their initiating chambers.
