| A gun is fired, anywhere. A school is somewhere. According to Everytown that is a school shooting. I mean when the WAPO calls you out....... |

| Wow, WaPo still has some sense of decency to let its writers expose lies from the commie gun grabbers. Hell is about to freeze over.

| Isn't shooting within a school premise (even the parking lot) considered as a school shooting? Regardless of people die or get injured (hope everyone stays safe), if an act has happened inside a school premise, it should be considered a school shooting right? |

INSIDE a school is a school shooting, no argument there. The gun grabbers also count school parking lots, the public highway in front of the school, the store or house across the street, and anyone under 21 within five miles of a school. OK, I made up the last one, but the gun grabbers and the media have stretched the definition of "school shooting" to make the naive public think blood is running in the hallways. I'm certain more kids are killed texting and driving, but they can't blame the NRA for that. Funny, they don't blame AAA either. |

| Not sure what the point is, even if the number can be massaged a bit lower by changing parameters it doesn't lower it to the point where it is not a issue. |

The "point" is that those who want to further their gun control agenda frequently resort to inflating the actual statistics in order to inflame and influence the emotional response to such tragedies...rather than engaging the debate in forming real-world policies. |
