Is it appropriate/allowed to post a Gun Owners of America link here?

If so, then here’s the lnk.

The link takes you to a fill-in form, prepared by GOA, and destined for Virginia legislators, opposing HB 217, HB 207, SB 27, SB 38, and any other bills that aim to restrict the gun rights of Virginians during this upcoming legislative session.

Stand up, Virginians!

Thanks go to redstone, in another thread, for posting the VCDL 2026 Legislation Tracking Tool link: https://vcdl-lis.org/

The governor of Virginia only worked for the CIA for eight months. How does that make her qualified to be governor?

HB207 (the $500 tax on suppressors) was tabled on Tuesday.

Email from VCDL states that on Friday (13th), the House Public Safety committee is voting on HB1524, which restricts the carrying of so-called “assault firearms” in public areas.

VCDL’s Legislation Tracking Tool is here.
And their firearm bill analysis (PDF) is here.

On those grounds alone, these bills should be smothered in their crib.

It had better.

There aren't enough jails in the state to hold all the "instant criminals" the bill would create otherwise.

SB749 has passed the Senate, and heads for Queen Abigail's desk next.

Virginia residents: please hammer on this, and spread it to your friends and neighbors for them to hammer on as well.

The reason the Iranian citizens haven't taken over control of the government is due to it being illegal to own firearms in nearly all cases. Why is a state in our union proceeding with this nonsense?

You pretty much answered your own question, but I believe you knew that already. Smile

It's what our new Dem "leadership" wants.

If they thought We the People wanted these new laws, they'd put them up for individual votes by... wait for it... We the People.

But no. This is what the swamp politicians want, constituents be damned.

Mad
